Interior design

I’ve always loved thinking about and rethinking the spaces I’ve lived in. My Dad could tell you how many times I made him move furniture or paint my room growing up. So the move to interior design was a natural one, in fact the last in a list of dream careers that I had as a teen.

My personal style? You would probably call it Mid-century with a leaning to Post Modern; I love a clean line, functional spaces, as well as colour. But I am also a collector of things, so minimalism doesn’t factor in for me.

I do believe spaces should reflect those who live in them, so your vision is what is important. Your space should include things you love, whether it is architectural features mixed with your grandmother’s spinning wheel, or your beloved plush sofa alongside Calder-inspired mobiles. I believe with the right plan, placement and vision, any space can be your dream home.

BRAND/RETAIL MANAGER

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to sketch chairs and tables and shelves and little corners of rooms. I get excited about modern design and architecture. I love stationary. I love fonts.

I also love functionality; cable management and magnets make me happy. The greatest joy for me is when everything has its place. I think it is important to display the things you love, and practically store the things you need.

I think the things in your home should mean something to you or provide a regular function, otherwise they just weigh you down and stress you out.

I want people to feel that their space is enough, and that they can live a full and happy life even in a small home.
